Education Requirement: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Specialized Experience: Ten (10) years of experience managing information services in an information systems environment, five (5) of which must be at the senior management level in a complex healthcare environment. The candidate will need to maintain appropriate technical competence, superior leadership and communication skills, and conceptual competencies in the health industry.
CERTIFICATION: Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) or equivalent certification is highly desired.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The candidate will need to have superior communication skills and will need to work well with others. Experience in acute and long-term care setting and public healthcare settings is highly desirable. An advanced degree, beyond a Bachelors degree, is preferred. Knowledge of Hawaii government information systems and Hawaii-based health information systems is desirable.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The position will work in an office environment with prolonged sitting. The work is sedentary with occasional need to assist in transporting office supplies, relocating office equipment, etc.
