HHSC Acting President and Chief Executive Officer Issues Statement over the Death of Health Director Loretta Fuddy

Honolulu, HI – Alice M. Hall issued the following statement regarding the passing of Hawaii Department of Health Director Loretta Fuddy:

“With deep emotion and sadness the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation mourns the passing of Loretta Fuddy. She devoted her life to all facets of healthcare improvement for Hawaii, including healthcare provisions that HHSC has benefited from. Loretta also has served on the HHSC Corporate Board of Directors, as an ex-officio representative, since 2011. She was a wise, sincere, wonderful person who will be greatly missed.

On behalf of our Corporate Board of Directors, employees, Medical Staffs, volunteers and auxiliaries, and foundations, our sincere condolences go out to Loretta’s family and the Department of Health staff.”
